CITY COUDICIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTOil <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTIOU NO. 81-324 <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF PErmIT APPLICATION FOR A}~DOR VALLEY <br />ATItLETIC CLUB "TURKEY TROT RUN" <br /> <br />WtlEREAS <br /> <br />Amador Valley Athletic Club is requesting approval <br />of a permit to hold a running event on Sunday, <br />November 8, 1981; and <br /> <br />~flIREAS this event is being held for the purpose of raising <br /> funds for the Pleasanton Cultural Arts program; and <br /> <br />WtlEREAS <br /> <br />the Council received a report from the Assistant to <br />the City Manager regarding the details of the proposed <br />event and recommending approval by the Council. <br /> <br />NOW, Tt~P~FORE, TIIE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASAi/~ON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the application of the Amador Valley Athletic <br /> Club for the "Turkey Trot Run" subject to all conditions <br /> set forth by the Police Department. <br /> <br />Section 2: The 1981-82 fiscal year budget is amended by <br /> approximately $383.00 to offset the costs of the event. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED 0N SEPTEMBER 29, 1981 BY TIlE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmembers - Kephart, I{ohr, Wood and Mayor Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSEi~T: Councilmember Butler ~~ <br />~~/"e~orge, Dep~ James R. ~ii~k~Clerk <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORI{: <br />~evine, City Attorney <br /> <br /> <br />
