CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 81-321 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AID AGREEMENT FOR <br />IMPROVEMENT OF VALLEY AVENUE FROM KOLLN STREET <br />TO SANTA RITA ROAD <br /> <br />CPS Associates, the developers of Tract 4889 (Valley <br />Business Park) has offered to improve Valley Avenue <br />from Kolln Street to Santa Rita Road, which improvement <br />is over and above the improvements required for the <br />subdivision; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, plans have been completed and an agreement has been <br /> prepared regarding this improvement; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the developer may request the formation of an assessment <br />or other reimbursement district in order to be reimbursed <br />for a portion of the work and the agreement allows con- <br />sideration of such a request; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />based on the Initial Environmental Study indicating <br />no significant adverse effects on the environment, a <br />negative declaration was adopted by Council on <br />September 29, 1981. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the plans for the widening of Valley Avenue <br /> from Kolln Street to Santa Rita to a four-lane major <br /> thoroughfare and approves the Street Improvement Agreement <br /> between the City of Pleasanton and Sente Associates Seven <br /> and Valley Business Associates. <br /> <br />Section 2: Authorizes the appropriate City officials to execute <br /> the Street Improvement Agreement. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its final passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED ON SEPTEMBER 29, 1981 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: Councilmember <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />Councilmembers - Kephart, Mohr, Wood and Mayor Mercer <br />None <br /> Butler <br /> <br /> <br />
