CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 81-354 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING IMPROVEMENT PLANS A~D AGREEMENT <br />FOR IMPROVEMENT OF HOPYARD ROAD, BETWEEN WEST LAS <br />POSITAS AND JOHNSON DRIVE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />improvement plans for the widening of Hopyard Road from <br />four lanes to six lanes have been submitted and checked <br />by the Engineering staff and the necessary inspection <br />fees, bonds and agreements will be received prio~ to <br />release of the plans for construction; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a Street Improvement Agreement has <br />covering the work to be performed, <br />attached; and <br /> <br />been prepared <br />a copy of which is <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />said improvement plans and Street Improvement Agreement <br />were reviewed by the City Council at its meeting of <br />October 13, 1981. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIm CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The improvement plans for widening Hopyard Road from <br /> four lanes to six lanes and attendant improvements are <br /> hereby approved and accepted and the appropriate City <br /> officers are instructed to take whatever action necessary <br /> to implement said approval. <br /> <br />Section 2: Authorizes the appropriate City officers to execute <br /> the Street Improvement Agreement for Hopyard Road improve- <br /> ments. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED OCTOBER 13, 1981 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None ~ <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> ~'/C~lerk ~ <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br />~ve~y E evine, City Attorn y <br /> <br /> <br />
