CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 81-352 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR <br />DESIGN REVIEW APPROVAL OF POLICE FACILITY TO BE <br />LOCATED AT THE CIVIC CENTER COMPLEX <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of October 13, 1981, the City Council <br />received a proposed negative declaration for design <br />review approval for the new police facility to be <br />constructed at the Civic Center Complex; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial <br />Study dated July 15, 1981 and received the staff and <br />Planning Commission's recommendations for approval; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time <br />the public was given the opportunity to comment on the <br />environmental impacts of the proposed development plan; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in <br />accordance with the applicable state and local guide- <br />lines governing the preparation of negative declarations <br />and environmental impact reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council finds that the proposed police facility <br />would not have any significant adverse effects on the <br />environment. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the negative declaration for the design <br /> review approval of the police facility to be located <br /> at the civic center complex. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED OCTOBER 13, 1981 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None ~C~~ <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />ATTEST: ~ <br /> lerk APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> ne~,~torney <br /> <br /> <br />
