CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFOrnIA RESOLUTION NO. 81-344 APPROVAL OF APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON TO PREZONE APPROXII~TELY 25 ACRES LOCATED ON THE NORTH SIDE OF ARROYO MOCHO I~EDIATELY EASTERLY OF AND ADJACENT TO THE PRESENT CITY LIMIT LII~ APPROXIMATELY 2,000 FEET WEST OF EL CHARRO ROAD TO THE A (AGRICULTURE) DISTRICT A~D REFER BACK TO THE PLANNING COMMISSION at its meeting of October 13, 1981, the City Council received a proposed negative declaration for prezoning an approximately 25 acre site located on the north side of Arroyo Mocho immediately easterly of and adjacent to the present city limit line approximately 2,000 feet west of E1 Charro Road to PUD-Industrial; and WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated September 4, 1981 and received the recom- mendations of the staff and Planning Commission; and WHEREAS , a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed prezoning; and WHEREAS, concerns were raised about industrial traffic using West Las Positas; and the representative of the applicant indicated that no immediate plans for development were in the works and the applicant would accept an alternate prezoning; and the applicant further indicated that the immediate need for annexation related to the provision for remedying a drainage problem on the site. NOW, THEREFORE, Tt~ CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: That an Agriculture zoning rather than the proposed industrial zoning be considered for the 25 acres in the subject application. Section 2: That the Planning Commission be requested to report to the City Council on said Agriculture zoning for that site. Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
