CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 00-011 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING <br />ACQUISITION OF THE SAN <br />AVENUE PROPERTY <br /> <br />TERM SHEET FOR <br />FRANCISCO BERNAL <br /> <br />at its meeting of February 15, 2000, the City Council received a report from the <br />City Manager and City Attorney (SR 00:042) regarding the proposed Term Sheet <br />for the purchase of the San Francisco Bernal Avenue property; and <br /> <br />the Council heard testimony for and against from members of the public; and <br /> <br />Council finds the proposed Term Sheet accurately reflects the negotiated terms for <br />the purchase of the above property and that the Term Sheet represents fair terms by <br />which Pleasanton could purchase 430 acres of the Bernal Avenue property; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br />The City Council endorses the attached Term Sheet and Exhibits thereto and <br />directs staff to prepare a more detailed Purchase and Sale Agreement for Council <br />consideration. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
