CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 00-012 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE SAN FRANCISCO TASK <br />FORCE RECOMMENDATIONS REPORT, ADOPTING THE <br />CITY POLICY FOR THE USE OF PROCEEDS FROM ANY <br />POTENTIAL FUTURE SALE OF PORTIONS OF THE SAN <br />FRANCISCO BERNAL AVENUE PROPERTY AND <br />PROVIDING DIRECTION TO STAFF AND THE TASK <br />FORCE CONCERNING THIS POLICY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />on December 7, 1999, the City Council appointed the San Francisco Bernal <br />Property Task Force to prepare public land use recommendations for the San <br />Francisco Bernal Property; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Task Force conducted seven meetings between December 14, 1999 and <br /> January 31, 2000; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Task Force completed its work on January 31, 2000 and has compiled the <br /> results in its "Final Recommendations Report"; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its regular meeting of February 15, 2000, the City Council considered the Task <br /> Force's "Final Recommendations Report." <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br />Section 2: <br /> <br />Accepts the San Francisco Bemal Property Task Force Final Recommendations <br />Report. <br /> <br />Establishes a City policy for the use of any proceeds from the potential future sale <br />of portions of the San Francisco Berual Property as follows: <br /> <br />"If the City sells any portion of the 430 acres, the City shall use the proceeds to <br />retire debt (after ten years) relative to the property or to finance public facilities or <br />infrastructure on site." <br /> <br /> <br />
