CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUI~Y, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 81-361 <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF SUNOL BOULEVARD BICYCLE PATH, <br />PROJECT NO. 81-7, AND APPROVAL OF FINAL PROGRESS <br />PAYMENT TO EUGENE G. ALVES CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, <br />INC. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, work by Eugene G. Alves Construction Company, Inc. <br /> on the Sunol Boulevard Bicycle Path, Project No. <br /> has been satisfactorily completed; and <br /> <br />81-7, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is appropriate to authorize the final progress payment. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The work on the Sunol Boulevard bicycle path is hereby <br /> accepted. <br /> <br />Section 2: The Director of Finance is instructed to prepare a <br /> warrant in the amount of $14,577.52'in favor of Eugene <br /> G. Alves Construction Company, Inc. in satisfaction <br /> of the final progress payment for the above-accepted <br /> work on Project No. 81-7. Ten percent (10%) of the <br /> total contract ($6,957.05) will be retained until <br /> thirty (30) days after filing of the Notice of Completion. <br /> <br />Section 3: The City Attorney is directed to file a Notice of <br /> Completion with the Alameda County Recorder. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED OCTOBER 27, 1981 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br /> NOES: None ~ <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br />~Ge~o~rge, Deputy Cit~k~e~Y//l~rkjClerk ~. _ RCER, ~tAYOR <br /> <br /> APPROVED AS TO FOP~i: <br />~ine', City Attorney <br /> <br /> <br />
