CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 81-395 RESOLUTION AGREEING TO THE EXCHANGE OF PROPERTY TAX REVENUE FOR ANNEXATION NO. 97 WHEP~EAS, Section 99 of the Revenue and Taxation Code (AB 8) provides, among other things, that no local agency jurisdicational change can be completed without the agencies affected by such change first having agreed upon an exchange of property tax revenue between and among the affected agencies; and WHEREAS , WHEREAS, the Alameda County Mayors' Conference, the City of Pleasanton (Resolution No. 80-74) and the Alameda County Board of Supervisors (Resolution No. 186574) have agreed to a method for equitably distributing the property taxes;. and such spe.ciflcI annexation needs a resolution from both the City and County agreeing to the exchange of property tax revenues for the annexation to be completed and filed with the State; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: That for Annexation No. 97 by the City of Pleasanton, which will be first effective for the fiscal year following the filing of the Certificate of Completion with the State Board of Equalization providing the filing occurs prior to December 31 of the preceding year, the Auditor-Controller of the County of Alameda shall be directed to cause an exchange of property tax revenues pursuant to the provisions of paragraphs No. 1 and 3 of the attached City/County agreement. Section 2: That City certifies that: There is no significant commercial and/or industrial development in the proposed annexation. Section 3: That the property tax proceeds accruing for the Structural Fire Fund shall be transferred to the City of Pleasanton. Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
