CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 81-390 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION <br />FOR A CHANGE TO THE GENERAL PLAN LAND USE DESIGNATION <br />OF AN APPROXIMATELY 6.6 ACRE SITE LOCATED ON STONEDALE <br />DRIVE, BETWEEN STONERIDGE DRIVE ON THE NORTH AND <br />1-680 ON THE EAST FROM FREEWAY INTERCHANGE AND OPEN <br />SPACE TO HIGH DENSITY RESIDENTIAL <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of November 10, 1981, the City Council <br />received a proposed mitigated negative declaration <br />for a change to the General Plan land use designation <br />of an approximately 6.6 acre site located on Stonedale <br />Drive, between Stoneridge Drive on the north and 1-680 <br />on the east from Freeway Interchange and Open Space <br />(Public Health and Safety) to High Density Residential; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial <br />Study dated October 20, 1981 and received the recommend- <br />ations of the staff and Planning Cornmission; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time <br />the public was given the opportunity to comment on the <br />environmental impacts of the proposed General Plan <br />change; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in <br />accordance with the applicable state and local guide- <br />lines governing the preparation of mitigated negative <br />declarations and environmental impact reports; and <br /> <br />WREREAS, <br /> <br />in reviewing the Initial Study, the City Council has <br />determined that there may be significant impacts upon <br />the environment, but that conditions of approval would <br />render these potential impacts insignificant. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the Mitigated Negative Declaration for the <br /> change to the General Plan land use designation of an <br /> approximately 6.6 acre site located on Stonedale Drive, <br /> between Stoneridge Drive on the north and 1-680 on the <br /> east from Freeway Interchange and Open Space (Public <br /> Health and Safety) to High Density Residential, subject <br /> to mitigating conditions numbers 3, 4 and 5 as listed <br /> on Exhibit B, attached to Resolution No. 81-389. <br /> <br /> <br />
