CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 81-388 RESOLUTION APPROVING MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR A CHANGE TO THE GENERAL PLAN LAND USE DESIGNATION FOR A 27+ ACRE SITE LOCATED ON SANTA RITA ROAD AND BOUNDED ~Y TRENERY DRIVE ON THE SOUTH, OAKLAND AVENUE ON THE EAST AND THE ARROYO MOCHO CANAL ON THE NORTH FROM MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL TO HIGH DENSITY RESIDENTIAL WttEREAS, at its meeting of November 10, 1981, the City Council received a proposed mitigated negative declaration for a change to the General Plan land use designation of a 27+ acre site located on Santa Rita Road and bounded'by Trenery Drive on the south, Oakland Avenue on the east and the Arroyo Mocho Canal on the north from Medium Density Residential to High Density Resi- dential; and WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated May 29, 1981 and received the recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed General Plan change; and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guide- lines governing the preparation of mitigated negative declarations and environmental impact reports; and WHEREAS, in reviewing the Initial Study, the City Council has determined that there may be significant impacts upon the environment, but that conditions of approval would render these potential impacts insignificant. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves a Mitigated Negative Declaration for the change to the General Plan land use designation of a 27+ acre site located on Santa Rita Road and bounded by'Trenery Drive on the south, Oakland Avenue on the east and the Arroyo Mocho Canal on the north from Medium Density Residential to High Density Residential, subject to mitigating conditions number 2 and 3 as listed on Exhibit A attached to Resolution No. 81-389.
