CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 81-388 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION <br />FOR A CHANGE TO THE GENERAL PLAN LAND USE DESIGNATION <br />FOR A 27+ ACRE SITE LOCATED ON SANTA RITA ROAD AND <br />BOUNDED ~Y TRENERY DRIVE ON THE SOUTH, OAKLAND AVENUE <br />ON THE EAST AND THE ARROYO MOCHO CANAL ON THE NORTH <br />FROM MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL TO HIGH DENSITY <br />RESIDENTIAL <br /> <br />WttEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of November 10, 1981, the City Council <br />received a proposed mitigated negative declaration <br />for a change to the General Plan land use designation <br />of a 27+ acre site located on Santa Rita Road and <br />bounded'by Trenery Drive on the south, Oakland Avenue <br />on the east and the Arroyo Mocho Canal on the north <br />from Medium Density Residential to High Density Resi- <br />dential; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial <br />Study dated May 29, 1981 and received the recommendations <br />of the staff and Planning Commission; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the <br />public was given the opportunity to comment on the <br />environmental impacts of the proposed General Plan <br />change; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in <br />accordance with the applicable state and local guide- <br />lines governing the preparation of mitigated negative <br />declarations and environmental impact reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />in reviewing the Initial Study, the City Council has <br />determined that there may be significant impacts upon <br />the environment, but that conditions of approval would <br />render these potential impacts insignificant. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves a Mitigated Negative Declaration for the <br /> change to the General Plan land use designation of a <br /> 27+ acre site located on Santa Rita Road and bounded <br /> by'Trenery Drive on the south, Oakland Avenue on the <br /> east and the Arroyo Mocho Canal on the north from <br /> Medium Density Residential to High Density Residential, <br /> subject to mitigating conditions number 2 and 3 as listed <br /> on Exhibit A attached to Resolution No. 81-389. <br /> <br /> <br />
