CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 81-386 RESOLUTION APPROVING NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR A GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT TO CHANGE THE LAND USE DESIGNATION FOR A 10,500 SQ. FT. LOT LOCATED ON THE SOUTtI SIDE OF HAPPY VALLEY ROAD, BOUNDED BY THE SOUTHERN PACIFIC RAILROAD TRACKS ON THE EAST AND SUNOL BOULEVARD ON THE WEST FROM "OPEN SPACE" TO "OFFICE" WHEREAS, the City Council, at its meeting of November 10, 1981 received a proposed negative declaration for a General Plan Amendment to change the land use designation for a 10,500 sq. ft. lot located on the south side of Happy Valley Road, bounded by the Southern Pacific railroad tracks onthe east and Sunol Boulevard on the west from "Open Space" to "Office"; and W]IEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated October 19, 1981 and received the recommend- ations of the staff and Planning Commission; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed general plan amendment; and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of negative declarations and environmental impact reports; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed general plan amendment would not have any significant adverse effects on the environment. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for the general plan amendment to change the land use designation for a 10,500 sq. ft. lot located on the south side of Happy Valley Road bounded by the Southern Pacific railroad tracks on the east and Sunol Boulevard on the west from "Open Space" to "Office". Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
