CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 81-386 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR <br />A GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT TO CHANGE THE LAND USE <br />DESIGNATION FOR A 10,500 SQ. FT. LOT LOCATED <br />ON THE SOUTtI SIDE OF HAPPY VALLEY ROAD, BOUNDED <br />BY THE SOUTHERN PACIFIC RAILROAD TRACKS ON THE <br />EAST AND SUNOL BOULEVARD ON THE WEST FROM "OPEN <br />SPACE" TO "OFFICE" <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council, at its meeting of November 10, 1981 <br />received a proposed negative declaration for a General <br />Plan Amendment to change the land use designation for a <br />10,500 sq. ft. lot located on the south side of Happy <br />Valley Road, bounded by the Southern Pacific railroad <br />tracks onthe east and Sunol Boulevard on the west <br />from "Open Space" to "Office"; and <br /> <br />W]IEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial <br />Study dated October 19, 1981 and received the recommend- <br />ations of the staff and Planning Commission; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the <br />public was given the opportunity to comment on the <br />environmental impacts of the proposed general plan <br />amendment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in <br />accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines <br />governing the preparation of negative declarations and <br />environmental impact reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council finds that the proposed general plan <br />amendment would not have any significant adverse effects <br />on the environment. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for the general <br /> plan amendment to change the land use designation for <br /> a 10,500 sq. ft. lot located on the south side of Happy <br /> Valley Road bounded by the Southern Pacific railroad <br /> tracks on the east and Sunol Boulevard on the west from <br /> "Open Space" to "Office". <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
