CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION N0. 81-384 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AMENDING 1981-82 BUDGET FOR PARTICIPATION <br />IN STUDY OF COMPUTER SERVICE ALTERNATIVES <br /> <br />the City of Pleasanton has been notified by On-Line <br />Business Systems that they are discontinuing their <br />computer service effective July 1, 1983; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City of Pleasanton and five other members of <br />the user's group (Cities of Davis, Benicia, Livermore, <br />Woodland and the Dublin San Ramon Services District) <br />met to consider computer service alternatives; and <br /> <br />the group decided that the first step was to study <br />the feasibility of providing the current system or the <br />Logis System on a contractual service basis or an <br />in-house basis; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the estimated cost of the study will be allocated <br />to the individual agencies based on annual computer <br />service costs. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The 1981-82 budget for the City of Pleasanton is <br /> amended to provide funds for the City to participate <br /> in a computer service alternatives study with five <br /> other agencies. The city's share is not to exceed <br /> $5,400. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED NOVEMBER 10, 1981 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> ames R. ~'ker, City Clerk ~ R, MAYOR <br /> George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br />H~arvey E.
