A.1 <br /> <br />WORK TO BE PERFORMED <br />Add the following: <br /> <br /> t. <br /> <br />Perform design, assistance during bidding, inspection and <br />testing of an additional new cathodic protection system <br />for both the 865 ft ~ and 10,050 ft ~ steel cement lined <br />and coated 18-inch diameter force mains from Pump Stations <br />No. 1 and No. 2 respectively. <br /> <br />Incorporate the two additional new cathodic protection <br />systems into the original and record (as-built) Contract <br />Drawings. <br /> <br />Incorporate the two additional new cathodic protection <br />systems into the original Operation and Maintenance Manual. <br /> <br />A.6 COST <br /> <br /> Delete entire section and add the following: <br /> <br /> "ENGINEER's work pursuant to this Amendment is based upon time and <br />expense cost reimbursement for the additional work to complete the <br />original scope of work and time and expense cost reimbursement plus a <br />fixed fee for profit and margin for the scope of work as described under <br />A.l.a through A.l.v above. <br /> <br /> "The estimated cost for the work to be performed by ENGINEER under <br />this Agreement, as amended, shall not exceed $352,600 except as provided <br />in Paragraph A. 7 below. The additional costs added in this Fifth ~nend- <br />ment are set forth in detail on EPA Form 5700-41 dated 22 October 1981, <br />and the backup work sheets attached thereto; said documents accompany <br />the STEP III grant application for CITY's Interceptor Project. <br /> <br /> <br />
