CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 81-381 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING FIFTH AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT <br />BETWEEN CITY OF PLEASANTON AND KENNEDY/JENKS <br /> <br />on September 8, 1981, Council authorized a request <br />to the State Water Resources Control Board to allow <br />installation of a cathodic protection system for the <br />interceptor sewer lines; and <br /> <br />~{EREAS, the city has been advised that this work can be funded <br /> under its previously approved Clean Water grant; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is appropriate to authorize Kennedy/Jenks Engineers, <br /> Inc. to proceed with the design work for this prcject. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the Fifth Amendment to the agreement between <br /> the City of Pleasanton and Kennedy/Jenks Engineers, Inc. <br /> (a copy of which is attached hereto). <br /> <br />Section 2: Authorizes the appropriate city officials to execute <br /> the Fifth Amendment to the Agreement. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED NOVEMBER 10, 1981 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None ~~ <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br /> a vey E.
