CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION N0.81-406 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION <br />FOR DEVELOPMEI~ PLAN APPROVAL FOR APPROXIMATELY <br />70,000 SQ. FT. OF FLOOR AREA ON APPROXIMATELY 4°6 <br />ACRES DOWNTOWN AND REZONING THE SITE TO PUD-COMMERCIAL/ <br />OFFICES AND REZONING THE WAYSIDE AND DELUCCHI PARKS <br />TO PUD-OPEN SPACE, PARKS AND RECREATION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of November 24, 1981, the City Council <br />received a proposed mitigated negative declaration for <br />development plan approval for approximately 70,000 <br />sq. ft, of floor area on approximately 4.6 acres <br />downtown and rezoning the site to PUD-Commercial/0ffices <br />and rezoning the Wayside and Delucchi Parks to <br />PUD-0pen Space, Parks and Recreation; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial <br />Study dated July 8, 1981 and received the recommenda- <br />tions of the staff and Planning Commission; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time <br />the public was given the opportunity to comment on the <br />environmental impacts of the proposed development plan; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in <br />accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines <br />governing the preparation of mitigated negative declara- <br />tions and environmental impact reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Initial Study prepared by the City staff indicated <br />that there may be significant impacts upon the environ- <br />ment, but that conditions of approval would render these <br />potential impacts insignificant. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves a Mitigated Negative Declaration for the <br /> development plan approval for an approximately 70,000 <br /> sq. ft. of floor area on approximately 4.6 acres <br /> downtown and rezoning the site to PUD-Connnercial/0ffices <br /> and rezoning the Wayside and Delucchi Parks to PUD- <br /> Open Space, Parks and Recreation, subject to mitigating <br /> conditions number 32, 45 and 46 attached to Ordinance <br /> No. 1007 and incorporated herein by reference. <br /> <br /> <br />
