CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFOiNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 81-402 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION SETTING PUBLIC HEARING FOR HOUSING <br />AUTHORITY COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Pleasanton Housing Authority has recently contacted <br />the City of Pleasanton regarding development of low- <br />cost housing in the city; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />in order for them to make application to Housing and <br />Urban Development (HUD) for federal financial assistance, <br />a Cooperative Agreement must be entered into between <br />the City and the Housing Authority; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />prior to considering such an agreement, the federal <br />government requires the Council to set a public <br />hearing with two weeks' public notice. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: A public hearing is hereby set for the second meeting <br /> in December to consider a Cooperative Agreement between <br /> the City of Pleasanton and the Pleasanton Housing <br /> Authority regarding development of low-cost housing. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED NOVEMBER 24, 1981 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />ATTEST: ~~R~~ <br /> CER, MAYORKE[ <br /> <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br /> <br />
