CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 81-401 <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF PUBLIC SERVICE EASEmeNT FROM BRENTWOOD <br />HOLDING COMPANY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City is in receipt of a Partnership Grant Deed <br />from Brentwood Holding Company to the City of <br />Pleasanton for a public service easement for a <br />two-foot widening of an existing sidewalk to <br />accommodate the Sunol Boulevard bike lane; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of November 24, 1981, the City Council <br />received a report from the Director of Public Works <br />and Utilities indicating that the acceptance of <br />this deed is in the public interest. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The Partnership Grant Deed from Brentwood Holding <br /> Company to the City of Pleasanton dated November 5, 1981 <br /> for a public service easement for a two-foot widening <br /> of an existing sidewalk to accommodate the Sunol <br /> Boulevard bike lane is hereby accepted and the appro- <br /> priate City officers are instructed to take whatever <br /> action necessary to implement said acceptance. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED NOVEMBER 24, 1981 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, M hr, Wood and Mayor Mercer <br /> <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br />~~a ~ CER MAYOR.~ ~ <br /> · cler ' ' <br /> By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br /> APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br /> Harvey E.
