CITY COUNCIL OF TIlE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAI{EDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 81-437 WHEREAS, RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR A GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT TO CHANGE THE LAND USE DESIGNATION OF APPROXIMATELY 9.4 ACRES AT THE TEP~INU~ O~ CRELLIN ROAD FROM OPEN SPACE (PUBLIC HEALTH AND SAFETY)!TO LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL at its meeting of December 22, 1981, the City Council received a proposed negative declaration for a General Plan Amendment to change the land use designation for an approximately 9.4 acre site located at the terminus of Crellin Road from Open Space (Public Health and Safety) to Low Density Residential; and WttEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated November 2, 1981 and received the recommendations of the staff and Planning Cormnission; and WtIEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed development plan; and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of negative declarations and environmental impact reports; and WtlEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed General Plan amendment would not have any significant adverse effects on the environment; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for the proposed General Plan Amendment to change the land use designation for an approximately 9.4 acre site located at the terminus of Crellin Road from Open Space (Public Health and Safety) to Low Density Residential. Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
