CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 81-436 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR <br />PLA~ED UNIT DEVELOPMENT ZONING AND DEVELOPMENT <br />PLAN APPROVAL FOR A MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL <br />PROJECT ON APPROXIMATELY 21 ACRES LOCATED AT <br />THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF RHEEM DRIVE A~D OAKLAND <br />AVENUE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of December 22, 1981, the City Council <br />received a proposed negative declaration for PUD <br />zoning and development plan approval for a medium <br />density residential project consisting of 113 single- <br />family homes and 83 townhouses on an approximately <br />21 acre site located at the northwest corner of <br />Rheem Drive and Oakland Avenue; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial <br />Study dated November 6, 1981 and received the <br />recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; <br />and <br /> <br />a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the <br />public was given the opportunity to comment on the <br />environmental impacts of the proposed development <br />plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in <br />accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines <br />governing the preparation of negative declarations <br />and environmental impact reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council finds that the proposed PUD zoning <br />and development plan approval would not have any <br />significant adverse effects on the environment. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for the PUD zoning <br /> and development plan approval for a medium density <br /> residential project consisting of 113 single-family <br /> homes and 83 townhouses on an approximately 21 acre <br /> site located at the northwest corner of Rheem Drive <br /> and Oakland Avenue. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
