CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 81-423 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AMADOR PARK PRELIMINARY <br />IMPROVEmeNT PLANS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />on September 8, 1981, the City Council amended the <br />park capital improvement budget, which included <br />a $200,000 reduction in the amount budgeted to <br />improve Amador Park; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />on October 28, 1981, the Park and Recreation Commission <br />met and reviewed the Amador Park project to try to <br />redefine the project and to limit it to the funds <br />available; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Director of the Department of Recreation and <br />Human Resources prepared a report dated December 1, <br />1981 in which the recommendations of the Park and <br />Recreation Commission were discussed in detail, and <br />presented three options for Council's consideration. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Reduces the Amador Park project to the Proposition <br /> I funding level of $101,598 by deleting the Cultural <br /> Arts patio and reducing the amount of clearing, <br /> grubbing, grading, and landscaping to that which can <br /> be done with the remaining available funds, $18,217. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED DECEMBER 8, 1981 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, ~ ohr, Wood and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None ~E/~C~ <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> 1 y Clerk <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Cler <br /> <br />APPR VED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br /> E.
