CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 82-13 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION IMPLEMENTING THE AFFORDABLE HOUSING <br />COMPETITION AND OPENING THE COMPETITION FOR NINETY <br />DAYS COMMENCING JANUARY 15, 1982 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at the request of Mr. Edward Parrish the issue of <br />"affordable" housing competition was brought <br />before Council for continued consideration; and <br /> <br />~HEREAS, <br /> <br />after considerable discussion, it became apparent <br />that the Affordable Housing Competition as outlined <br />in Resolution No. 81-287 should be implemented; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />discussion ensued regarding the period of time <br />during which the competition would be open and the <br />City would be accepting applications; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council reviewed the report dated January <br />12, 1982 presented by the Director of Planning and <br />Community Development. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br /> The City Council hereby implements the affordable <br />housing competition and adopts the following <br />general time schedule for 1982: January 15, <br />1982 - open competition for 90 days and begin <br />accepting applications, ending April 16, 1982. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JANUARY 12, 1982 BY THE FOLLOWING <br />VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers <br /> Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br />~Levine, City Attorney <br /> <br />- Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood and <br /> <br /> ~C~R <br /> <br /> <br />
