CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION N0. 82-10 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR <br />PREZONING AN APPROXIMATELY 250 ACRE PARCEL AT <br />THE EASTERN TERMINUS OF JFNIPERO STREET TO THE <br />PUD-LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL/OPEN SPACE DISTRICT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of January 12, 1982, the City <br />Council received a proposed negative declaration <br />for prezoning an approximately 250 acre site consisting <br />of two parcels located at the eastern terminus of <br />Junipero Street, which land is involved in Annexation <br />No. 96, to the PUD-Low DenSli~ReSidential/Open <br />Space District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated December 4, 1981 and received <br />the recommendations of the staff and Planning <br />Commission; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a duly noticed public hearing was held at which <br />time the public was given the opportunity to <br />comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed <br />project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts <br />in accordance with the applicable state and local <br />guidelines governing the preparation of negative <br />declarations and environmental impact reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council finds that the proposed prezoning <br />would not have any significant adverse effects on <br />the environment. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br /> Approves the Negative Declaration for the prezoning <br />of an approximately 250 acre site consisting of two <br />parcels located at the eastern terminus of Junipero <br />Street, which land is involved in Annexation No. 96, <br />to the PUD-Low Density Residential/Open Space District. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JANUARY 12, 1982 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood and <br /> Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br /> <br /> <br />
