CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 82-24 <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF GRANT DEED FROM FRANK E. BETSCHART <br />AND MARY BETSCHART FOR PROPERTY IN EMINENT DOMAIN <br />ACTION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City is in receipt of a Grant Deed from Frank <br />E. Betschart and Mary Betschart, which property <br />is the subject of a condemnation action to obtain <br />land for construction of Peters Avenue; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of January 26, 1982, the City Council <br />received a report from the City Attorney indicating <br />that the acceptance of this deed is in the public <br />interest. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The Grant Deed from Frank E. Betschart and Mary <br /> Betschart to the City of Pleasanton is hereby <br /> accepted and the appropriate City officers are <br /> instructed to take whatever action necessary to <br /> implement said acceptance. <br /> <br />Section 2: Authorizes the City Manager to execute a Certificate <br /> of Acceptance of the above-described deed. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JANUARY 26, 1982 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Butler, Mohr, Wood and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Kephart ~ <br /> <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br /> , City Attorney <br /> <br /> <br />
