CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 82-57 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE CITY OF PLEASANTON AND OPERATING ENGINEERS LOCAL UNION NO. 3 (POLICE) AND A}~NDING THE 1981-82 BUDGET WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton, acting through the City Manager as employer representative of the City Council, and representatives of Operating Engineers Local Union No. 3 (Police), have met and conferred pursuant to the provisions of Section 3500, et seq., of the Government Code in regard to wages, hours, and other terms and conditions of employment for members of Operating Engineers Local Union No. 3 (Police); and WHEREAS, as a result of the above meeting and conferring process, a Memorandum of Understanding dated February 9, 1982 was entered into between the City Manager and representatives of Operating Engineers Local Union No. 3 (Police); and WHEREAS, said Memorandum of Understanding was presented to the City Council at the regular meeting of February 9, 1981; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: The Memorandum of Understanding entered into between the City Manager and representatives of Operating Engineers Local Union No. 3 (Police), for a term commencing January 1, 1982 through December 31, 1983, attached hereto, is accepted by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton, subject to the terms and conditions contained in the Memorandum of Understanding. Section 2: The employees' class titles and salary ranges to be paid by the City of Pleasanton to all employees in Operating Engineers Local Union No. 3 (Police) during the period January 1, 1982 through December 31, 1983 shall be set forth in the Memo- randum of Understanding, attached hereto as Exhibit A and incorporated herein by reference. Section 3: The budget of the City of Pleasanton for fiscal year 1981-82 is hereby amended to reflect those changes enumerated in Exhibit A.
