CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFOP~IA RESOLUTION NO. 82-53 WtlEREAS RESOLUTION DENYING THE APPLICATION OF E. J. PARISH CORPORATION FOR PPtEOrr~,]G AND DEVELOPMENT PLAN APPROVAL oneJanuary 26, 1982, E. J. Parish Corporation 'applied to the City Council for prezoning and development plan approval for a 252-unit manufactured housing project on an approximately 29 acre site located on the north side of Vineyard Avenue opposite Sauterne Way; and W~IEREAS based on the Initial Study dated December 110 1981 indicating no significant adverse effects on the environment, a negative declaration was adopted by Council on January 26, 1982~'and ~IEREAS WtiEREAS, the City CounCil hasI.~ec'eived Planning Commission recommendations for ~pproval of this prezoning and development plan; and public hearings were held on January 26, 1982 and February 9, 1982; and ~IEREAS, a motion to approve the project subject to numerous conditions failed; and WtiREAS, the City Council finds that approval of the project is not in the best interest of the City; that adequate public safety measures have not been incorporated into the plan; that the project does not adequately protect the public health, safety and general welfare; and that the project does not meet the purposes of the City's Planned Unit Development ordinance; NOW, Tt~EREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: That PUD-81-34, application of E. J. Parish Corporation for prezoning and development plan approval for a 252-unit manufactured housing project on an approximately 29 acre site located on the north side of Vineyard Avenue opposite Sauterne Way, be denied.
