W}IEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 82-49 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLAP~TION FOR <br />REZONING APPROXIMATELY 13.7 ACRES LOCATED AT THE <br />NORTHWEST CORNER OF STANLEY BOULEVARD AND FIRST <br />STREET FROM A (AGRICULTURAL) TO THE PUD-COMMERCtAL <br />AND OFFICES DISTRICT <br /> <br />at its meeting of February 9, 1982, the City Council <br />received a proposed negative declaration for rezoning <br />approximately 13.7 acres located at the northwest <br />corner of Stanley Boulevard and First Street from <br />the A (Agricultural) to the PUD-Commercial and <br />Offices District; and <br /> <br />the City Council has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated January 5, 1982 and received <br />the recommendations of the staff and Planning <br />Commission; and <br /> <br />~IEREAS, <br /> <br />a duly noticed public hearing was held at which <br />time the public was given the opportunity to <br />comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed <br />rezoning; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts <br />in accordance with the applicable state and local <br />guidelines governing the preparation of negative <br />declarations and environmental impact reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council finds that the proposed PUD zoning <br />would not have any significant adverse effects on <br />the environment; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for the rezoning <br /> of an approximately 13.7 acre site located at the <br /> northwest corner of Stanley Boulevard and First <br /> Street from A (Agricultural) to the PUD-Commercial <br /> and Offices District. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED FEBRUARY 9, 1982 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood and <br /> Mayor Mercer <br /> <br /> <br />
