CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 82-48 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR <br />PLA~ED UNIT DEVELOPMENT ZONING AND DEVELOPMENT <br />PLAN APPROVAL FOR CONSTRUCTION OF 150 APARTMENT <br />UNITS AND 20 CONDOMINIUM UNITS ON A 9.31 ACRE <br />SITE LOCATED ON THE .SOUTH SIDE OF VALLEY AVENUE <br />IMMEDIATELY WEST OFSAFEWAY,SHOPPING CENTER, <br />NORTH OF A~DOR PARK AND EAS%.OF THE SINGLE- <br />FAMILY RESIDENTIAL LOTSFRONTIN~'ON'BROOKTREE WAY <br /> <br />at its meeting of February 9, 1982, the City <br />Council received a proposed negative declaration <br />for PUD zoning and development plan approval for <br />construction of 150 apartment units and 20 condominium <br />units on a 9.31 acre site located on the south side <br />of Valley Avenue immediately west of Safeway Shopping <br />Center, north of Amador Park and east of the single- <br />family residential lots fronting on Brooktree <br />Way; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated October 20, 1981 and received <br />the recommendations of the staff and Planning <br />Commission; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a duly noticed public hearing was held at which <br />time the public was given the opportunity to <br />comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed <br />development plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts <br />in accordance with the applicable state and local <br />guidelines governing the preparation of negative <br />declarations and environmental impact reports; and <br /> <br />~IEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council finds that the proposed PUD <br />zoning and development plan approval would not <br />have any significant adverse effects on the environment. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for the PUD <br /> zoning and development plan approval for construction <br /> of 150 apartment units and 20 condominium units on a <br /> 9.31 acre site located on the south side of Valley <br /> Avenue immediately west of Safeway Shopping Center, <br /> north of A~nador Park and east of the single-family <br /> residential lots fronting on Brooktree Way. <br /> <br /> <br />
