CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALA}~DA COIR]TY, CALIFOP,}]IA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 82-80 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A COOPERATIVE AGP~E~NT <br />WITH CALTRANS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A SIDEWALK <br />ALONG THE FOOTHILL ROAD-SAN RAMON ROAD OVERPASS <br />OF 1-580 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has indicated its interest in <br />a joint project with CALTRANS for construction of <br />a sidewalk on the easterly side of San Ramon <br />Road-Foothill Road between Canyon Way and Dublin <br />Boulevard (including the overpass of 1-580); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />CALTRANS has prepared plans for the work and a <br />Cooperative Agreement, which calls for the City <br />to pay approximately $11,600 for its pro rata <br />share of the project (consisting of the work <br />located within the City of Pleasanton and outside <br />the State right-of-way); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of March 9, 1982, the City Council <br />reviewed the Cooperative Agreement along with a <br />report from the Director of Public Works and <br />Utilities; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section <br /> <br />1: Approves the Cooperative Agreement between the <br /> City of Pleasanton and CALTP~NS for construction <br /> of a sidewalk on the easterly side of San Ramon <br /> Road-Foothill Road between Canyon Way and Dublin <br /> Boulevard in the vicinity of 1-580. <br /> <br />Section 2: Authorizes the appropriate City officials to <br /> execute the Cooperative Agreement. <br /> <br />Section <br /> <br />3: Amends the 1981-82 Capital Improvements (Streets) <br /> budget in the sum of $11,600 for the above-mentioned <br /> sidewalk construction. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED ~,~RCH 9, 1982 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> <br />
