CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 82-79 <br /> <br />P~SOLUTION DENYING THE CLAIM OF OTIS BRADS~W <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />on October 15, 1981, the City of Pleasanton received <br />a claim filed on behalf of Otis Bradshaw for damage <br />to his carpet due to an improper curing of slurry <br />sealing on streets in his neighborhood; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />on February 23, 1982, the City Council reviewed the <br />claim and determined that it should be denied; <br /> <br />NOW,THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIM CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The claim presented on October 15, 1981 by Otis <br /> Bradshaw for damage to his carpet is hereby denied. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED FEBRUARY 23, 1982 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: <br /> <br />Councilmembers - Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood and <br />Mayor Mercer <br /> <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />· ~ RCER, ~YOR <br /> <br />· Walker, Cit~ Clerk <br /> <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FOP~: <br />Br~W.
