CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAmeDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 82-78 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DENYING THE CLAIM OF MALCOLM <br />~RTINEZ <br /> <br />WtIEREAS, <br /> <br />on December 22, 1981, the City of Pleasanton received <br />a claim filed on behalf of Malcolm Dennis Martinez <br />for damages due to false arrest on October 4, 1981; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />on February 23, 1982, the City Council reviewed the <br />claim and determined that it should be denied; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br /> The claim presented on December 22, 1981 on behalf <br />of Malcolm Dennis Martinez for damages due to false <br />arrest on October 4, 1981 is hereby denied. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective i~mediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED FEBRUARY 23, 1982 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES <br /> <br />Councilmembers - Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood and <br />Mayor Mercer <br /> <br />NOES None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br />/~ ~w~~n <br />Brian W. g City Attorney <br /> <br /> <br />
