CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAmeDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 82-65 <br />P~OLUTION DENYING THE APPEAL OF WILDWEST STOP~S <br />RELATING TO AN ADDITIONAL SIGN <br /> <br />WHEREAS , <br /> <br />Wildwest Stores applied to the Design Review Board <br />to allow an additional illuminated wall sign for <br />their business located at 5540 Springdale Avenue; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Design Review Board considered this application <br /> at its meeting of December 9, 1981; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />WHEREAS ~ <br /> <br />the Design Review Board denied the request of <br />Wildwest.,Stores; ahd <br /> <br />.within [he time specified by the Ordinance Code of <br />the City of Pleasanton, Wildwest Stores submitted <br />an appeal to the City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of February 23, 1982, the City <br />Council received a report dated January 18, 1982 <br />from the Director of Planning and Community Development <br />along with the staff report to the Design Review <br />Board; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council held a public hearing at which <br />time applicant and any other member of the public <br />was offered an opportunity to present evidence <br />regarding this appeal; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Denies the appeal of Wildwest Stores to allow an <br /> additional illuminated wall sign for their business <br /> at 5540 Springdale Avenue. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED FEBRUARY 23, 1982 BY THE FOLLOWING <br />VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Butler, Kephart, Mohr, <br /> Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br /> <br />Wood and <br /> <br /> <br />
