CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAmeDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 82-100 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR <br />REZONING APPROXIMATELY 4.5 ACP~S AT 1725 ROSE <br />AVENUE FROM "A" (AGRICULTURAL) TO PUD-MEDIM{ <br />DENSITY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT <br /> <br />~IEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of March 23, 1982, the City Council <br />received a proposed negative declaration for <br />rezoning an approximately 4.5 acre site at 1725 <br />Rose Avenue from "A" (Agricultural) to the <br />PUD-Medium Density Residential District; and <br /> <br />WtlEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated January 5, 1982 and received <br />the recommendations of the staff and Planning <br />Commission; and <br /> <br />WtlEREAS, <br /> <br />a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time <br />the public was given the opportunity to comment on <br />the proposed environmental assessment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts <br />in accordance with the applicable state and local <br />guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council finds that the proposed rezoning <br />would not have any significant adverse effects on <br />the environment; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section <br /> <br />1: That a Negative Declaration be adopted for the <br /> rezoning of approximately 4.5 acres located at <br /> 1725 Rose Avenue from "A" (Agricultural) to the <br /> PUD-Medium Density Residential District. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED MARCH 23, <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Butler, <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Wood <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />1982 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />Kephart, Mohr and Mayor Mercer <br /> <br /> <br />
