CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 82-99 <br /> <br />AUTHORIZATION FOR EXPENDITURE OF SEWER EXPANSION <br />FUND FOR CO-GENERATION PROJECT AT DSRSD TREATMENT <br />PLANT <br /> <br />WIIEP~AS, <br /> <br />the Dublin San Ramon Services District (DSRSD) has <br />been studying the feasibility of constructing a <br />co-generation system in connection with the sewage <br />treatment plant; and <br /> <br />WtIEREAS , <br /> <br />after discussion at several joint sewer committee <br />meetings, DSRSD has approved the project and is <br />ready to proceed with engineering design and <br />construction of the facility; and <br /> <br />WIIEREAS, the Pleasanton City Council must approve expenditures <br /> from the sewer expansion fund exceeding $75,000; and <br /> <br />WttEP~AS, the total estimated cost for the project will <br /> exceed $2.9 million; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council of the City of Pleasanton <br /> authorizes the expenditure from the Sewer Expansion <br /> Fund of approximately $2.9 million for engineering <br /> design and construction of the co-generation <br /> project at the DSRSD treatment plant. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED MARCH 23, 1982 BY THE FOLLOWING <br />VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Butler, Kephart, Mohr and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None NE~~THR.
