CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 82-97 <br /> <br />P~SOLUTION APPOINTING REMAINING ELECTION OFFICERS <br /> <br />~IEP~AS, <br /> <br />on February 23, 1982, the City Council adopted <br />Resolution No. 82-59 designating the central <br />ballot counting place, the polling places and <br />appointing certain election officers; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at that time not all positions were filled for the <br /> various precincts; and <br /> <br />~IEREAS, <br /> <br />the Assistant to the City Manager presented a <br />report to the Council dated March 16, 1982 with a <br />complete list of election officers attached, including <br />those not appointed at the February 23, 1982 meeting <br />(designated by an asterisk in that report); and <br /> <br />W]IEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council must appoint the remaining election <br />officers to serve at the April 13, 1982 general <br />municipal election; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />P$SOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Those persons on the attached Exhibit A, incorporated <br /> herein by this reference, whose names are marked <br /> with an asterisk are hereby appointed election <br /> officers for the April 13, 1982 municipal election. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolutio{ ahallbecome effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTIONsADOPTED MARCtt 23, 1982 BY THE FOLLOWING <br />VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: <br /> <br />Councilmembers - Butler, Kephart, Mohr and <br /> <br />Mayer Mercer <br />None <br />Councilmember Wood <br />None <br /> <br />NOES: ~ME~RC~.~,~ <br />ABSENT: <br />ABSTAIN: <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> ER, MAYOR <br /> <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FO~i: <br /> <br />Brian W. ing City Attorney <br /> <br /> <br />
