CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 82-94 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A CONTRACT FOR <br />CONSULTANT SERVICES WITH TJKM IN CONJUNCTION WITH <br />TRAFFIC SIGNAL PROJECT, SANTA RITA RD. AND PIMLICO DR. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />one of the Capital Improvement Projects in the 1981-82 <br />fiscal year budget is the installation of traffic signals <br />at the intersection of Santa Rita Road and Pimlico Drive <br />and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a proposal for the provision of consultant services in <br />conjunction with the installation of said traffic signal <br />was sought from TJKM, Transportation Consultants, in <br />order to provide necessary design services for the subject <br />traffic signal; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, TJKM has been involved in the design of all recent traffic <br /> signal installations in the City of Pleasanton; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a proposed agreement between the City of Pleasanton and <br />TJKM was submitted to the City Council, together with a <br />Staff Report of March 17, 1982; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council considered said Staff Report and proposed <br /> agreement at its meeting of March 23, 1982; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br />RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Authorizes the execution by the Mayor, subject to approval <br /> of the City Attorney, of an agreement with TJKM for the pro- <br /> vision of all consultant services necessary to design a <br /> traffic signal installation at Santa Rita and Pimlico Drive <br /> for a fee not to exceed $5,900.00. (Project 82-7) <br /> <br />Section 2.
