WtlEREAS , CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALA}~DA C0~]TY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION N0. 82-90 P~SOLU~ION AUTHORIZING THE FILING OF A CLAIM WITH THE ~TROPOLITAN TP~NSPORTATION CO}~ISSION FOR ALLOCATION OF TRANSPORTATION DEVELOPI~ENT ACT FUNDS FOR FISCAL YEAR 1982-83 the Transportation Development Act (TDA), as amended (Public Utilities Code Sections 99200, et seq.), provides for the disbursement of funds from the local Transportation Fund of the County of Alameda for use by eligible claimants for the purpose of community transit services for Pleasanton residents; and WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the TDA, as amended, and pursuant to the applicable rules and regulations thereunder (21 Cal. Admin. Code Sections 6600, et seq.) a prospective claimant wishing to receive an allocation from the local Transportation Fund shall file its claim with the Metropolitan Transportation Commission; and WHEREAS, TDA funds from the local Transportation Fund of Alameda County will be required by claimant in Fiscal Year 1982-83 for community transit services; NOW, Tt~REFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON P~SOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: The Director of Recreation and Human Resources is authorized to execute and file an appropriate claim pursuant to the terms of the Transportation Develop- ment Act, as amended, and pursuant to applicable rules and regulations promulgated thereunder, together with all necessary supporting documents, with the Metropolitan Transportation Commission for an alloca- tion of TDA funds in Fiscal Year 1982-83. Section 2: A copy of this resolution shall be transmitted to the Metropolitan Transportation Commission in conjunction with the filing of the claim and the Metropolitan Transportation Commission is requested to grant the allocations of funds as specified therein.
