CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COIINTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 82-82 <br /> <br />AMENDMENT TO RESOLUTION N0.76-79 (ESTABLISHING <br />TRAFFIC REGULATIONS FOR CITY STREETS) BY AMENDING <br />SECTION 12 (NO PARKING ZONES FOR VEHICLES IN <br />EXCESS OF TWENTY FEET IN LENGTH) BY ADDING SUB- <br />SECTION 12f-5 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council, on April 12, 1976, adopted <br />Resolution No. 76-79 (a Resolution Establishing <br />Traffic Regulations for City Streets); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has from time to time amended the <br /> resolution; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of March 9, 1982, the City Council <br />received and discussed a report dated March 3, <br />1982 from the Director of Public Works and Utilities <br />related to truck parking on First Street; and <br /> <br />it was determined to be necessary to amend Resolution <br />No. 76-79 to prevent parking of vehicles in excess <br />of twenty feet on First Street between Spring <br />Street and the northerly boundary of Wayside Park; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1 <br /> <br /> Resolution No. 76-79 is hereby amended by adding <br />subsection 12f-5 of Section 12 (No Parking Zones For <br />Vehicles in Excess of Twenty Feet in Length) as <br />follows: <br /> <br />"12f-5 <br /> <br />First Street, on the west side of First <br />Street between Spring Street and the <br />northerly boundary of Wayside park." <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />TtIIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED MARCH 9, 1982 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood <br /> <br />NOES <br />ABSENT: <br />ABSTAIN: <br /> <br />Councilmembers <br />and Mayor Mercer <br />None <br />None <br />None <br /> <br /> <br />
