CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 82-119 <br /> <br />A P~SOLUTION DENYING THE APPLICATION OF RICHARD <br />AND URSULA ULTSCH AND THEODORE BATES FOR PREZONING <br />AND DEVELOPmeNT PLAN APPROVAL FOR AN IMMOBILE HO}~ <br />PROJECT ON VINEYAP~ AVENUE (PUD-82-8) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Richard and Ursula Ultsch and Theodore Bates, through <br />Ed Parish, have applied for prezoning a 29 acre site <br />located on the north side of Vineyard Avenue <br />opposite Sauterne Way to the PUD district and <br />simultaneous approval of a development plan for a <br />247 unit manufactured housing project (PUD-82-8); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a prior development plan application (PUD-81-134) <br />was denied by the City Council, but, subsequently, <br />the City Council allowed this revised plan to be <br />submitted anew; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Planning Commission at their meeting of <br />March 31, 1982 recommended approval of the <br />prezoning and revised development plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />based on the Initial Environmental Study indicating <br />no significant adverse effects on the environment <br />a negative declaration was adopted by Council on <br />April 6, 1982; and <br /> <br />WltEREAS, <br /> <br />a duly noticed public hearing was held at which <br />time the public was given the opportunity to comment <br />on the proposed development plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council finds that the proposed prezoning <br />and development plan are not in the best interests <br />of the City of Pleasanton; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council denies the application for approval <br /> of PUD-82-8. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED APRIL 6, 1982 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> <br />
