CITY CC CIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASA~ 3N <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 82-134 <br /> <br />REVIEW OF BIDS AND AWARD OF CONTRACT TO ATLAS PAVING <br />AND GRADING, INC. FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF ST. MARY <br />STREET AT W.P.R.R., PROJECT NO. 82-1 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City prepared plans and specifications for The <br /> Improvement of St. Mary Street at W.P.R.R.; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />pursuant to Government Code No. 37900, et seq., the <br />Director of Public Works and Utilities advertised for <br />bids regarding this project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />bids were received on April 15, 1982, and it was determined <br />that Atlas Paving and Grading, Inc. was the lowest responsible <br />bidder; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works and Utilities, in his report <br /> dated April 19, 1982, recommended that said bid be accepted. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br />RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. The bid of Atlas Paving and Grading, Inc., in the amount <br /> of $45,350.50 for The Improvement of St. Mary Street at <br /> W.P.R.R., Project 82-1, is hereby accepted by City Council <br /> as the lowest responsible bid. <br /> <br />Section 2. The City is authorized to enter into a contract with Atlas <br /> Paving and Grading, Inc. for the improvements specified above. <br /> <br />Section 3.
