CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALA}~DA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 82-121 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE 1982 GROWTH MANAGEmeNT <br />PROGRAM TARGET NUMBER OF DWELLING UNITS TO BE <br />CONSTRUCTED AND OTHER PA~TERS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Growth Management Program requires the yearly <br />setting of a target number for residential dwelling <br />units to be constructed, the number set aside for <br />lower income units, those units available to smaller <br />projects as well as establishing the guidelines for <br />the yearly selection of smaller projects; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has received a staff report <br />containing recommendations for the Growth Management <br />Program parameters requiring yearly determination <br />by the City Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS , <br /> <br />pursuant to the Growth Management Program Ordinance, <br />a public hearing was held at which public testimony <br />was heard considering these matters; and <br /> <br />WtlEREAS , <br /> <br />the City Council has considered the General Plan <br />growth rate policy, the number of units likely to <br />be approved in long-term agreements for 1982, <br />previously authorized but undeveloped units, prior <br />years' authorized units, and the comments received <br />at the public hearing; and <br /> <br />W}IEREAS, the City Council finds its determinations listed <br /> below meet the General Plan goals and policies; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: That 506 dwelling units-be set as the 1982 target <br /> number of units desired to be constructed. <br /> <br />Section 2: That 51 dwelling units be set aside for lower-income <br /> housing. <br /> <br />Section 3: <br /> <br /> That the allocation for smaller projects be <br />set at 227 dwelling units (228 dwelling units <br />being reserved for long-term agreements for 1982). <br /> <br />Section 4: <br /> <br /> That the maximum size of any smaller project <br />eligible to receive Growth Management Program <br />approval for 1982 shall be 75 dwelling units. <br /> <br /> <br />
