~E~AS, WttEREAS, ~E~AS, WtlEREAS , CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAmeDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 82-156 RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLAP~TION FOR A GENERAL PLAN A~NDMENT (GP-81-9) CHANGING THE LAND USE DESIGNATION FOR SEVERAL PARCELS IN THE MOHR/~RTIN AREA at its meeting of May 11, 1982, the City Council received a proposed Negative Declaration for a general plan amendment changing the land use designation of several properties on the west side of Martin Avenue between Mohr Avenue and the Arroyo Mocho and an approximately 45 acre site east of Martin Avenue immediately south of the Arroyo Mocho from "Medium Density Residential and "Sand and Gravel Harvesting" to Low Density Residential; and the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated December 2, 1981 and received the recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; and a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed General Plan amendment; and the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and the City Council finds that the proposed General Plan amendment would not have any significant adverse effects on the environment; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for the General Plan amendment changing the land use designation of several properties on the west side of Martin Avenue between Mohr Avenue and the Arroyo Mocho and an approximately 45 acre site east of Martin Avenue immediately south of the Arroyo Mocho from "Medium Density Residential and "Sand and Gravel Harvesting" to Low Density Residential.
