~E~AS, <br /> <br />WttEREAS, <br /> <br />~E~AS, <br /> <br />WtlEREAS , <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAmeDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 82-156 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLAP~TION <br />FOR A GENERAL PLAN A~NDMENT (GP-81-9) CHANGING <br />THE LAND USE DESIGNATION FOR SEVERAL PARCELS <br />IN THE MOHR/~RTIN AREA <br /> <br />at its meeting of May 11, 1982, the City Council <br />received a proposed Negative Declaration for <br />a general plan amendment changing the land use <br />designation of several properties on the west <br />side of Martin Avenue between Mohr Avenue <br />and the Arroyo Mocho and an approximately 45 <br />acre site east of Martin Avenue immediately <br />south of the Arroyo Mocho from "Medium Density <br />Residential and "Sand and Gravel Harvesting" to <br />Low Density Residential; and <br /> <br />the City Council has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated December 2, 1981 and received <br />the recommendations of the staff and Planning <br />Commission; and <br /> <br />a duly noticed public hearing was held at which <br />time the public was given the opportunity to <br />comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed <br />General Plan amendment; and <br /> <br />the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts <br />in accordance with the applicable state and local <br />guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />the City Council finds that the proposed General <br />Plan amendment would not have any significant <br />adverse effects on the environment; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for the General <br /> Plan amendment changing the land use designation <br /> of several properties on the west side of Martin <br /> Avenue between Mohr Avenue and the Arroyo Mocho and <br /> an approximately 45 acre site east of Martin Avenue <br /> immediately south of the Arroyo Mocho from "Medium <br /> Density Residential and "Sand and Gravel Harvesting" <br /> to Low Density Residential. <br /> <br /> <br />
