~{EREAS , <br /> <br />WtlEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS , <br /> <br />WHEREAS , <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFOP~]IA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 82-155 <br /> <br />P~SOLUTION APPROVING A MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLA- <br />RATION FOR PUD PLAN APPROVAL FOR A SECOND PHASE <br />OF DEVELOPMENT FOR THE 56 ACRES OF LAND LOCATED <br />AT THE SOUTHWEST CO~]ER OF HOPYARD ROAD AND 1-580 <br /> <br />at its meeting of May 11, 1982, the City Council <br />received a proposed mitigated negative declaration <br />for PUD (Planned Unit Development) development plan <br />approval for a second phase of development for the <br />56 acres of land located at the southwest corner <br />of Hopyard Road and 1-580 in the vicinity of <br />Bannister and Owens Drives, which proposes 14 <br />individual office and research and development <br />buildings on the sites ranging from 1.2 to 7.2 <br />acres in size with structures proposed up to five <br />stories in height; and <br /> <br />the City Council has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated March 1, 1982 and received the <br />recorfanendations of the staff and Planning Con~nission; <br />and <br /> <br />a duly noticed public hearing was held at which <br />time the public was given the opportunity to <br />comment on the environmental impacts of the <br />proposed development plan; and <br /> <br />the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts <br />in accordance with the applicable state and local <br />guidelines governing the preparation of mitigated <br />negative declarations and environmental impact <br />reports; and <br /> <br />the Initial Study prepared by the City staff <br />indicated that there may be significant impacts <br />upon the environment, but that conditions of <br />approval would render these potential impacts <br />insignificant; and <br /> <br />the City Council finds that based upon the review <br />of the Initial Study, and the testimony and docu- <br />mentary evidence presented at the public hearing <br />that there may be significant impacts on the <br />environment, but that conditions listed in Section <br />1 below as mitigations render these potential <br />impacts insignificant; <br /> <br /> <br />
