CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />P~SOLUTION NO. 82-149 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING TAX DEED FROM STATE OF <br />CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />WHEREAS , <br /> <br />at its meeting of October 13, 1981, the City <br />Council authorized the purchase of a 23 ft. wide <br />strip of land located between Pimlico Drive and <br />Highway 580; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City is in receipt of a Tax Deed to Purchaser <br />of Real Property from the State of California <br />dated April 15, 1982 for the above property; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of May 11, 1982, the City Council <br />received a report from the Director of Public Works <br />and Utilities indicating that the acceptance of <br />this deed is in the public interest; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The Tax Deed to Purchaser of Real Property dated <br /> April 15, 1982 from the State of California to the <br /> City of Pleasanton for a strip of land between <br /> Pimlico Drive and Highway 580 is hereby accepted <br /> and the appropriate City officers are instructed to <br /> take whatever action necessary to implement said <br /> acceptance. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED MAY 11, 1982 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers <br /> Mayor Butler <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, Wood and <br /> <br />ROBERT~R,~YOR/~~ <br /> <br />t~.
