CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 82-143 RESOLUTION APPROVING GROWTH MANAGEMENT PROGRAM ALLOCATIONS FOR SMALLER PROJECTS FOR 1982 WHEREAS, on February 23, 1982, the City Council adopted Ordinance No. 1023 establishing the Growth Manage- ment Program; and WHEREAS, the Growth Management Program sets forth the procedure to determine the method for selecting smaller projects if the number of units in smaller projects applied for in a given year exceeds the number of units set aside in the allocation for smaller projects; and WHEREAS, the City Council has received a staff report from the Director of Planning and Community Development recommending that the Chaing Su-O Lin project not receive approval at this time because of the unlikelihood of its development in the near future since an intervening property must develop first and that development has not begun; and WHEREAS, the Foothill Knolls Partnership property has applied for 75 lots, but that project is eligible for only 58 lots because prior RAP exemption has already granted development approval for the balance of 23 units in the tract; and WtIEREAS, if the Chaing Su-O Lin project is eliminated from those smaller projects which have applied for approval and if the Foothill Knolls Partnership property is reduced to 58 units, then the number of smaller projects applied for would not exceed the allocation, allowing all the projects to be approved as well as leaving some units available on a first come-first served basis for later applicants this year; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the staff recommendation is in the best interest of the City and conforms to the purposes and intent of the Growth Management Program; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
