CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 82-169 ACCEPTANCE OF GRANT DEED FROM FRANK T. ALLEN AND FLORENCE G. ALLEN, FOR CONSTRUCTION OF THE PICO AVENUE EXTENSION. WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton, succeeded in acquiring, Pleasanton, a parcel of Florence G. Allen; and Public Works Department, has on behalf of the City of land from Frank T. Allen and WHEREAS, this land is necessary for the construction of Pico Avenue extension; and WHEREAS, staff has reviewed the documents and finds everything to be in order including the purchase price which conforms to the appraised price plus a reasonable allowance for severance damage; and WHEREAS, at their meeting of May 25, 1982, the City Council reviewed a report from the Director of Public Works and Utilities indicating that the acceptance of this Grant Deed is in the public interest. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Authorizes the City Manager to execute the Certificate of Acceptance of Real Property for the Grant Deed from Frank T. Allen and Florence G. Allen to the City of Pleasanton for purposes of constructing Pico Avenue extension and authorizing the recording of these documents. Section 2. Authorizes staff to deposit $60,000.00 into escrow for the purchase of said property. Section 3. Authorizes the Mayor and City Clerk to execute the Real Property Purchase Contract. Section 4. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
