CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFOP~IA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NC. 82-200 <br /> <br />P~SOLUTION ADOPTING APPROPRIATION LIMIT FOR FISCAL <br />YEAR 1982-83 <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> <br />Article XIIIB of the State of California Consti- <br />tution (Proposition 4 on the November 6, 1979 <br />ballot) requires that each year the governing body <br />of each local agency establish its appropriation <br />limit for the following fiscal year; and <br /> <br />WtlEREAS <br /> <br />the appropriation limit for 1982-83 fiscal year is <br />equal to the limit for 1981-82, adjusted for <br />changes in the cost of living and population; and <br /> <br />WtIEREAS <br /> <br />staff has determined the overall net increase in <br />the cost of living to be 6.79% and 0.67% increase <br />in the growth in population; and <br /> <br />~IEREAS <br /> <br />using the above figures, the appro riations limit <br />for fiscal year 1982-83 shou d be M8,287,879.00; <br /> 1 <br /> <br />NOW, THEP~FORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASAI~TON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Adopts the appropriation limit for fiscal year <br /> 1982-83 of $8,287,879.00. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />TtIIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JUNE 22, 1982 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES Councilmembers - Brandes, Mercer, Wood and Vice Mayor <br /> Mohr <br />NOES None <br /> <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br />Brian W.
