CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALA}~DA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />P~SOLUTION NO. 82-193 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING TASK ORDER NO. 4 TO TtIE <br />AUGUST 13, 1980 AGP~EMENT WITH CH2M HILL AND <br />AUTHORIZING THE CITY ~NAGER TO SIGN THE TASK <br />ORDER <br /> <br />~IEREAS, <br /> <br />the City of Pleasanton is authorized by the Livermore- <br />Amador Valley Water Management Agency (LAVW~) to <br />take the lead in the 1 MGD industrial/non-retail <br />commercial expansion of the LAVW~ pipeline facility; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> <br />the City entered into an agreement with Ctt2~ Hill <br />to perform the engineering work related to the <br />expansion, with jobs to be directed by task order; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> <br />the LAVW~ interceptor pipeline is located in the <br />general area of the proposed tlacienda Business <br />Park and to ensure that the pipeline is not damaged <br />and that LAVWMA easements are observed, it is <br />necessary to contract for additional engineering <br />services from CH2M Hill; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> <br />any costs incurred by LAVWT~ related to the tlacienda <br />Business Park project construction will be reimbursed <br />by Prudential Insurance Company; and <br /> <br />WtlEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of June 8, 1982, the City Council <br />reviewed the proposed Task Order 1]o. 4 along with <br />a staff report from the City ~ianager; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />PZSOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves Task Order No. 4 to the August 13, <br /> 1980 Agreement with CH2~ Hill for engineering <br /> services relative to Hacienda Business Park, not <br /> to exceed $2,000. A copy of the Task Order No. 4 <br /> is attached hereto and by this reference incorporated <br /> herein. <br /> <br />Section 2: Authorizes the City Manager to sign the Task <br /> Order on behalf of the City. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
