CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALA}~DA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA P~SOLUTION NO. 82-193 RESOLUTION APPROVING TASK ORDER NO. 4 TO TtIE AUGUST 13, 1980 AGP~EMENT WITH CH2M HILL AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY ~NAGER TO SIGN THE TASK ORDER ~IEREAS, the City of Pleasanton is authorized by the Livermore- Amador Valley Water Management Agency (LAVW~) to take the lead in the 1 MGD industrial/non-retail commercial expansion of the LAVW~ pipeline facility; and WHEREAS the City entered into an agreement with Ctt2~ Hill to perform the engineering work related to the expansion, with jobs to be directed by task order; and WHEREAS the LAVW~ interceptor pipeline is located in the general area of the proposed tlacienda Business Park and to ensure that the pipeline is not damaged and that LAVWMA easements are observed, it is necessary to contract for additional engineering services from CH2M Hill; and WHEREAS any costs incurred by LAVWT~ related to the tlacienda Business Park project construction will be reimbursed by Prudential Insurance Company; and WtlEREAS, at its meeting of June 8, 1982, the City Council reviewed the proposed Task Order 1]o. 4 along with a staff report from the City ~ianager; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON PZSOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves Task Order No. 4 to the August 13, 1980 Agreement with CH2~ Hill for engineering services relative to Hacienda Business Park, not to exceed $2,000. A copy of the Task Order No. 4 is attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein. Section 2: Authorizes the City Manager to sign the Task Order on behalf of the City. Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption.
