CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAb~DA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 82-190 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AGREEMENT WITH RUTH AND GOING <br />FOR DESIGN OF THE FRONT 20 ACRES OF SPORTS PARK <br /> <br />WIIEREAS , <br /> <br />on December 22, 1981, the City Council approved <br />the proposed development plans for the front <br />section of Pleasanton Sports and Recreation Park <br />and directed staff to proceed with plans; and <br /> <br />~IEREAS, <br /> <br />requests for proposals were submitted to twenty <br />firms and the selection committee has chosen the <br />Ruth and Going firm of San Jose; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a contract was negotiated with the Ruth and Going <br />firm, a copy of which is attached hereto and by <br />this reference incorporated herein; and <br /> <br />WttEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of June 8, 1982, Council reviewed <br />the staff report dated June 2, 1982 from the <br />Director of Public Works and Utilities along with <br />the proposed contract with Ruth and Going; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the agreement with Ruth and Going for <br /> engineering and landscape architectural services <br /> for the design of the front 20 acres of the Sports <br /> Park, a copy of which is attached hereto and by <br /> this reference incorporated herein. <br /> <br />Section 2: Authorizes the mayor to execute the agreement. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JUNE 8, 1982 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Ilercer, Eohr, Wood and <br /> Mayor Butler <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> APPROVED AS TO FOPS{: <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br /> Brian W.
