CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAmeDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 82-183 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION A~NDING RESOLUTION NO. 76-79 (ESTAB- <br />LISHING TRAFFIC REGULATIONS FOR CITY STREETS) BY <br />AMENDING SECTION 12 (NO PARKING ZONES FOR VEHICLES <br />IN EXCESS OF TWENTY FEET IN LENGTH) BY ADDING <br />SUBSECTION 12f-7 REGARDING NO PARKING ON FIRST <br />STREET <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />on April 12, 1976, the City Council adopted Resolution <br />No. 76-79 (A Resolution Establishing Traffic <br />Regulations for City Streets); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has from time to time amended <br /> Resolution No. 76-79; and <br /> <br />I.~HEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of June 8, 1982, the City Council <br />received and discussed a report dated June 2, 1982 <br />from the Director of Public Works and Utilities <br />related to the problems of truck parking on the <br />west side of First Street from Wayside Park to <br />Main Street; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />it was determined to be necessary to amend Resolution <br />No. 76-79 to prevent parking on First Street from <br />the Park to Main Street; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Resolution No. 76-79 (A Resolution Establishing <br /> Traffic Regulations for City Streets) is hereby <br /> amended by subsection 12f-7 to Section 12 as follows: <br /> <br />"12f-7 <br /> <br />First Street, on the west side of First <br />Street from the northerly boundary of <br />Wayside Park to Main Street." <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective irf~nediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JUNE 8, 1982 BY TIlE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES Councilmembers - Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, Wood and <br /> Mayor Butler <br />NOES None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None ~~ <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk ~l~--~ ~f~ <br /> Brian W.
